Time

Here are a couple more gems that I found in my pick'n ventures.  The Seth Thomas Tambour mantel clock is beautiful and in the midst of being repaired (waiting for parts). The cabinet is in exceptional condition.  It has such a lovely Westminster chime to it.  It chimes on both the hour and half hour.  Once on the half hour and to each hour.  I love when it gets to the 6 o'clock hour.

This is a Franz Hermle Staunton 2W and although gorgeous, it's not extremely old.  I believe this clock was given to an employee as an anniversary gift by a timber company years ago.  This clock has that true "chime" that goes off only once per hour.  I love how you can see the intricacy of the gears and movements.  All I need for this one is the key, lol.

Rattan

Wanted to share with you a couple vintage gems that I recently came across.  Here are a pair of vintage rattan nightstands (I think) that were so beautiful I had to acquire.  Although I personally don't collect or have my home furnished in any wicker or rattan, I couldn't let these pieces go by the way side.  Each stand 25.5" tall and 16" in diameter.  They each have 3 small drawers that are lined in felt.  Truly solidly built and need just a little cleaning.  One drawer is missing it's hardware.  I'm still researching their age and origin, but just couldn't keep myself from sharing.  Have a look...

What do you think?

I'd like to hear from you!
