Fun Vintage Finds

The 40's were argueably the most "Glamorous" era of all for fashion and apparel.  That era is my personal favorite.  With that, I'd like to share with you a couple recent finds.  This dress I've recently posted in my new Etsy shop named none other than "Vintagicity".  I'm still doing alil research on the dress and if you've any info on this or one similar, I'd be delighted and thankful.

I love the old rotary style phones and when I saw this one I just felt someone out there would love to have sitting atop a phone stand or table.  From the 60's or early 70's and dark brown in color, this Stromberg and Carlson phone is sure to turn an eye.  It's currently listed in my "NeverTooOld" shop.

Lastly I have this vintage wooden jewelry box that I just couldn't pass up.  It's a single drawer, no compartment style box.  There is a ring holder at the base of the inside of the lid.  The felt lining is a "mauve" in color and the box is the largest "case" type that I've seen at 15" x 11" x 6".

There ya have it! Nothing spectacular for my first post but I hope to have a Vintagicity "Grand Opening" post up soon.   I hope you've a great weekend and Happy Hunting!

Have something vintage or antique you'd like to share?  I'd be happy to post for you here!!  Just let me know.  You can send a convo to either:

I like the old dial phones, we had one when I was growing up, but it made me just want to play with the phone all the time!

Hi Marthaa!!

Nice to see you've dropped by and thanks so much for your kindest of compliments and comments, you're the best!!

As silly as it seems now, as kids I it was a combination of that rotary dial and the handset that kept us entertained, lol.

Well thanks for stopping by and don't forget to visit:
